A count of live bacteria capable of multiplying. More CFU isn't automatically better — strain identity, whether the bacteria survive to the point of use, and where in the body they need to act all matter more than the raw number.

- ProDentim lists "Lactobacillus Reuteri" with no strain code, and doesn't disclose how much of its combined 3.5B CFU blend is this species. There's no way to confirm the same strain or a comparable dose.
